Spearmint is the friendliest mint there is: cool and sweet, without the sharp menthol edge of peppermint. We blend it with smooth whole-leaf green tea for a clean, garden-fresh cup that's about as easy as tea gets. It's bright and simple, the sort of thing you brew a big pot of and keep going back to. Tasting Notes Spearmint leads, cool and softly sweet, more rounded and less biting than peppermint. Under it, the green tea stays mellow and lightly vegetal, giving the mint something to sit on so the cup tastes full rather than thin. It steeps a clear, pale gold and finishes clean and cooling, with a fresh mint aroma that lasts. Good on its own, and refreshing enough that it barely needs anything added. Spearmint, Not Peppermint The two mints are easy to mix up, but they drink quite differently. Peppermint is intense and menthol-cool; spearmint is gentler, sweeter and greener, closer to the mint you'd pick from a garden. That softer character is why it pairs so naturally with green tea, lifting the leaf without overpowering it.
