Here is a wonderful and FREE sock pattern to mix your favorite self-striping yarn with the semi-solid color of your choice! This sock design is an original design by Fran Carle, worked from the top down with a short-row heel. The stitch pattern is available as a chart and written format as well. In addition to the sock pattern, you will need the following material to knit your pair of In the Grass Zig-Zag socks: Biscotte Yarn – Bis-Sock : 400 meters/437 yards. Sample is knit in – MC: the Chouette colorway ; CC: Biscuit (For cuff, heels, toes). Recommended- 60-70 grams of MC and 20 grams of CC
