About the Il Cielo Estate The coffee beans at Hacienda El Cielo Estate are cultivated in the heart of Nicaragua, nestled in Peñas Blancas at an elevation of over 1,300 meters above sea level in the country’s central region. With a rich history spanning more than 70 years, this remarkable estate spans 139.4 hectares of coffee trees and an additional 278.9 hectares of untouched wild forest. Managed by the Cerna family since 1990, the estate supports approximately 670 families from the local community, offering employment during both the harvest and off-season.
