One-off, unique artwork by Thierry André. Sun, Moon, and Vibrations (Part 2) is the tying middle piece of my triptych, first initiated at the end of 2018, with the Award winning instrument- Sun, Moon, and Vibrations (Part 1) extended-body acoustic guitar creation. Carved and domed-out of beautiful hardwood Maple burl, each -Sun- & -Moon- discs are reflecting to eachother, marking relationship, commitment, time. The discs finish is anilin dye, with no varnish whatsoever ; This give the wood a surreal, soft, velvety feel recalling watercolour works, that is really seen in sculptural work.
