The pendant, with its elegant teardrop shape and detailed patterns, serves as the centerpiece of the necklace, evoking the serene beauty and mystique of a hidden desert oasis. Complementing the pendant are the carefully selected brass Mali squashed bicone beads, handmade from recycled metal. These beads, found by Hidir, a trusted trader in Koforidua, Ghana, are increasingly rare due to the ongoing troubles in Mali, making them a precious addition to the necklace. The beads, with their varying shapes and sizes, add a touch of warmth and history, reflecting the resilience and creativity of the artisans who crafted them. The necklace also features a variety of recycled glass beads, mostly unpolished, adding an organic, earthy texture to the design.
