This fabulous DK yarn is made with an ecofriendly blend of fine merino and nettle. Nettle is a highly sustainable low impact plant fibre resulting in a yarn that is warm in winter but breathes in summer. It gives this yarn drape, lustre, and great stitch definition, and adds a lovely contrast to hand dyed colours as it does not take colour itself. Composition: 68% Merino superwash, 32% nettle Weight / Yardage: 3.6 oz (100 g) = approximately 263 yds (240 meters) Recommended needle size: US#5-7 / 3.75 - 4.5 mm Gauge: 21 - 24 sts = 10 cm
