The Ribbed and Cabled Gradient socks by Fatimah Hinds are fun to knit with the right details. The socks that I am proposing combine a highly visible cable pattern that is worked alongside simple stockinette. The cables are worked infrequently so most of the sock will be relaxing rounds of stockinette and ribbing. For another layer of interest, the cuff is knit extra long to be worn folded or not. Finally, the ribbed pattern starts at the toe so that it can run the entire length of the sock. Socks are knit from the cuff down. The heel is a unique short-row shaping so all the gradient yarn color
